The PAC3760 is a comprehensive, portable appliance tester capable of performing all of the tests required by ASNZS3760. We’re going to begin by testing a class one appliance. We’re going to test the class one appliance using battery power so the leakage test won’t be performed. If you wish to measure leakage, you need to connect to a mains supply. We start by connecting the appliance up to the tester. We then connect the earth test lead to the socket on the top. And we connect the test clip onto some exposed metal on the appliance.
